A Global Adventist Evangelistic Effort

A spiritually prepared church can make an eternal difference.

God is calling His church to spend intentional time with Jesus, prepare our members, and get ready to share His soon return with our communities.

As we look toward September 2027, what will you do to help prepare your church?

Prepare Now

THE STRATEGY

Prepare your people, not just your plans.

September 2027 may feel far away, but meaningful preparation starts long before you choose an event theme or create a marketing plan. Use this time to build spiritual readiness, create a shared sense of purpose, and help members begin identifying the people they can pray for, connect with, and eventually invite to your event.

All three of these steps are important, but you can start anywhere.

Read The Desire of Ages.

Spend intentional time in The Desire of Ages as a church and discover Jesus anew.

Return to Daniel & Revelation

Revisit these prophetic books together and be reminded of God's plan and our calling.

Prepare Members to Participate

Help your congregation understand what's ahead and take practical steps to be ready.

The goal is not simply to get members ready for an event. It’s to help them see themselves as part of the mission, and begin thinking intentionally about the people in your community.

Spend time with Jesus and the message you’ll share.

Spiritual preparation starts by returning to Scripture and keeping Jesus at the center. Invite your church to spend intentional time reading The Desire of Ages together, reflecting on the life and ministry of Christ and the way He connected with people.

This is also an opportunity to return to the books of Daniel and Revelation. Study them together, talk about the hope found in their message, and help members become more comfortable with the biblical themes they’ll be inviting others to explore.

The more familiar your church becomes with Jesus and His message, the more naturally they’ll be able to share both with others.

Choose a Plan

Choose a Desire of Ages reading plan that works for your church and gives members a realistic rhythm they can follow together.

Organize a Group

Invite members to participate together. Create opportunities to talk about what you’re reading, ask questions, and reflect on what you’re learning about Jesus.

Begin Now

Don’t wait until your event is approaching. Start spending time with Jesus and Scripture now so the message you eventually share with your community is already shaping your church.

The official All Things New reading plans help churches focus on the life of Jesus as they prepare for September 2027.

Choose a plan and invite your church to read together.

Explore the reading plans

Your September 2027 plan starts now.

You don’t need every detail figured out today. Start by talking with your church about how you want to participate in All Things New and what it could look like in your community.

Think about the people you hope to reach, the strengths and ministries already present in your church, and the ways members can personally participate. Then begin identifying what needs to happen between now and September 2027 to turn that shared vision into action.

A plan gives your church something to prepare for together and enough time to build toward it intentionally.
